Floatic, a South Korean robotics solution provider specializing in e-commerce warehouse automation, announced on the 5th that it will showcase its proprietary autonomous mobile robotic solution at the upcoming MODEX 2024.

MODEX 2024 is scheduled to take place from March 11-14 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, and is expected to host more than 1,150 exhibitors and 50,000 attendees. At booth #C3696, Floatic will demonstrate its AMR solution, Floware, which is designed to optimize efficiency in warehouse centers, particularly in the picking process.

Floware is a robotic solution that aims to streamline the picking process, currently heavily reliant on manual labor due to complex orders and processes in e-commerce warehouse centers. It promises deployment within six weeks from integration to operation, with minimal equipment and investment costs, and can enhance productivity by up to 3.5 times compared to manual labor.

“Floatic has been dedicated to developing unique robot solutions for the logistics industry since its inception, achieving significant results from collaborations with logistics giants in South Korea,” said Chan Lee, CEO of Floatic. “We now look forward to demonstrating our competitiveness in global markets, including the United States.”

The solution includes the ‘Floatic Engine,’ a core system and platform for planning and managing orders productively, and ‘Flody,’ the autonomous mobile robot responsible for executing picking tasks alongside human workers. Floware’s software algorithms are meticulously modularized to meet various warehouse center requirements, allowing for flexible and quick adaptation.

During the show, Floatic plans to conduct robot demonstrations in a setting that replicates real-world warehouse environments. Visitors will have the opportunity to see real-time demonstrations of multiple Flodys working seamlessly through the Floatic Engine’s Fleet Management System. Additionally, they will have the chance to pick items directly with Flodys, experiencing intuitive operation methods and worker-friendly features like the ‘Picking guide.’

“The North American region offers plentiful opportunities, despite the fierce competition, due to its relatively advanced warehouse automation stage,” Lee added. “Our primary goal at this MODEX trade show is to identify potential clients in need of our solutions and to meet local partners and distributors for long-term collaboration.”
