Hooxi Partners, a South Korean firm specializing in carbon accounting software and emissions trading consultancy, has secured a Series A funding of KRW 2 billion. This investment brings Hooxi Partners’ total funding to KRW 3.2 billion.

As an enterprise dedicated to the future of carbon credits and carbon management SaaS, Hooxi Partners has developed ‘NetZ,’ a carbon management solution. This tool aids companies in managing their greenhouse gas emissions disclosures. By leveraging green technology, Hooxi Partners supports businesses in reducing their carbon footprint and promoting sustainable practices.

Moreover, Hooxi Partners helps companies create new additional revenues by converting their reduced carbon achievements into future carbon credits, thus enabling companies to mitigate management risks by acquiring future carbon credits. This effort is part of their broader ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy.

Hooxi Partners is also the sole provider of an electric vehicle carbon credit program in South Korea, capturing the carbon credit market in transportation, including buses, taxis, freight, rental cars, and bikes. It helps companies generate additional income by securing and trading future carbon credits based on their carbon reduction achievements.

Lee Hyung Yeol, the CEO of Hooxi Partners, commented, “This year, we anticipate surpassing our break-even point, driven by revenue growth from trading our secured future emission rights. With this round of funding, we aim to continue our investments in discovering and securing future emission rights and to further enhance ‘NetZ’.”
