Uproot Company Secures Pre-Series A for Global Expansion and Tech Enhancement
Reading Time: < 1 minuteUproot Company, the Korean operator of the digital asset accumulation investment solution ‘bitsaving,’ has secured a pre-SeriesA investment from CNTTECH.
This investment marks the first from the KIF Venturium account fund, which includes major partners such as KT, SK Telecom, LG Uplus, and SK Broadband as limited partners (LPs). Uproot Company intends to use the funds acquired for global business expansion and to enhance its data analysis and service sophistication. Previously, Uproot Company attracted seed investment from HEXAGON Ventures and the American startup accelerator Apps311, followed by an additional investment from HEXAGON Ventures. Furthermore, it has also received investment from The Invention Lab, continuing its streak of successful fundraising efforts.
Uproot Company is the first in Korea to hold a patent for a ‘Method of Buying and Storing Digital Assets Using Blockchain On-chain Data.’ It was selected in TIPS, a private-led technology startup support program, in October last year and won the grand prize at the Ulsan Startup Festa in November, earning recognition for its innovation and growth potential.
