AI Pioneer WiseAI Secures KRW 10 Billion in Series B Investment
Reading Time: < 1 minuteWiseAI, a specialized artificial intelligence (AI) platform company, successfully secured a Series B investment of KRW 10 billion through convertible bonds. This funding round saw the participation of key investors, including BNW Investment, Q Capital Partners, SJ Investment Partners, and GB Ventures.
WiseAI experienced significant growth in its flagship AI customer service platform, ‘SSAM,’ achieving over double the performance compared to the previous year. The company earned recognition as a ‘Baby Unicorn’ last June and was awarded the highest technical evaluation grade, ‘TI-1.’
Explaining the success, WiseAI stated, “Visible achievements related to corporate growth have been evident since last year, leading to a successful fundraising round.” The funds raised will be allocated towards advancing AI technology, expanding into new business domains, and covering marketing expenses for both domestic and international market penetration.
In the current year, WiseAI plans to introduce four new AI solutions, including the △AI Marketing Platform ‘AiU’ △AI Internet Phone ‘AiME’ △AI Sales Platform ‘AiMING’ △AI Dementia Care Service ‘AiME Alpha.’
CEO Song Hyeong-seok mentioned, “We are extending our AI services beyond the medical field through partnerships and collaborations with various companies such as GS Neotek, Hwiz, NHN KCP, and Carelabs.” He further added, “While maintaining a stable profit, we decided to pursue this investment to accelerate growth, strengthen our AI service lineup, and proceed as planned with our global market entry, ultimately becoming a company that contributes to society based on AI technology.”
