STYLEBOT Secures Pre-Series A Funding to Advance AI-Based Styling Technology
Reading Time: 2 minutesThe South Korean AI-based styling recommendation firm, STYLEBOT, has successfully raised pre-Series A funding from JCH Investment and Oracle Venture Investment. This investment underscores STYLEBOT’s technological prowess and its competitive edge in the market. The funds are earmarked for refining their styling recommendation services through generative AI technology, bolstering B2B sales within Korea, and making strides into the international arena.
STYLEBOT enhances the shopping experience by offering services like apparel recognition and categorization, personalized fashion outfit recommendations, virtual try-on capabilities, and integration with smart home systems. This approach not only maximizes consumer satisfaction but also aids fashion companies in boosting their sales figures.
Established in 2019, STYLEBOT has shown remarkable growth, marked by its selection for the startup growth technology development project, recognition as a leading StyleTech company, and its certification as a venture company. Its innovative solutions have garnered attention both in South Korea and on international stages, notably with its participation in CES 2024.
The latest funding round is set to accelerate STYLEBOT’s efforts in technology development and market expansion. The company aims to reinforce its leadership in AI-based personalized fashion styling and virtual try-on technologies, and to broaden its footprint in the global fashion market.
Sohyun Kim, the CEO of STYLEBOT, expressed enthusiasm about the global interest the company attracted at CES 2024 last January. She highlighted the company’s ambition, stating “By participating in the Viva Technology exhibition in Paris this May, we aim to achieve our goal of going global by forming B2B services with global fashion brands and platforms.”
