South Korean music revenue certificate platform, Musicow, has secured an additional KRW 60 billion in Series D funding from Stick Investment.

In April 2022, Musicow received KRW 100 billion in Series D funding from Stick Investment, and this additional investment of KRW 60 billion marks the extension of their Series D funding round. With this new investment, Musicow’s cumulative funding has reached KRW 214 billion to date. The funds will be utilized for acquiring outstanding music intellectual property (IP), advancing the cultural finance ecosystem pioneered by Musicow, and expanding their global business.

Stick Investment has recognized the significant growth potential of Musicow, which leads the market by operating services based on music IP that attracts global attention. Therefore, they have made this additional investment. Musicow was officially recognized as a “trust revenue certificate” by financial authorities last year, establishing a solid foundation for extensive business expansion within the financial system.

With the successful completion of this investment, Musicow plans to reinforce its financial structure, prepare for the music IP business and market expansion, and accelerate the activation of the cultural ecosystem.

Currently, Musicow boasts approximately 20,000 music IPs, facilitating the trading of diverse songs that represent various eras and genres. By redefining the value of music, transforming it into a financial product, and promoting its sharing, Musicow is at the forefront of creating a wholesome cultural ecosystem beyond a mere investment platform.
