Cafenono, the operator of Slashpage, based in Korea, raised 6 billion won (KRW) in a seed bridge round. The round was led by Bass Investment, with participation from Primer Sazze Partners and KT Investment. The total accumulated investment amount is 85 billion won.

Slashpage is a service that allows anyone to easily and quickly create various types of web pages, such as blogs, communities, and chat, based on a database channel and a block-based editor.

After launching its product for the first time on Product Hunt, which is called the Billboard chart of the global software industry, on June 13, it won the daily No. 1 (Product of the Day) and the first monthly No. 5 badge (Product of the Month) in Korea.

Cafenono, which developed Slashpage, is a startup that was founded in April 2021 by a group of people who reunited after selling the proptech service Hogangnono to Zigbang.

Yang Hyun-jun, a senior team leader at Base Investment, who led the investment, said, “I believe that the area where Korean startups can achieve great success globally is services that grow based on product power and community, such as Notion and Slack.” We expect the Cafenono team, which has world-class product planning and development capabilities, to successfully create a new form of web builder service in the global market.”

Cafenono CEO Shim Sang-min said, “I want to show the excellent technology and disruptive innovation methods that have been proven at Hogangnono in the global web content market.” I will do my best to make and distribute various types of web content more easily and quickly than anyone else using Slashpage.”
