MotionLabs, a healthcare startup specializing in artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions for patient management efficiency and data mining, has just announced securing a pre-Series A bridge investment of approximately $440,000 from The Invention Lab, bringing their total investment to about $1.32 million.

The company operates ‘Re:Visit,’ a solution designed to streamline patient management in clinics while providing data-driven marketing insights. MotionLabs has been making strides in developing medical vertical SaaS solutions. Since the launch of the Re:Visit solution at the end of 2023, the company has experienced significant growth, with approximately 40 clinics becoming customers within just two months.

This latest round of investment involved more than 10 specialists, all of whom are actual users of the Re:Visit solution. These specialists, impressed by the solution’s growth trajectory and functionality, formed an investment consortium to support MotionLabs further.

Yoo Jin Lee, MotionLabs’ CEO, remarked, “Attracting investment from a consortium of specialists is quite rare in the startup industry. As both customers and shareholders of the Re:Visit solution, we are committed to collaborating with our advisory board to enhance features and expand our market presence.”

One of MotionLabs’ key collaborators and customers, a clinic director, decided to invest after personally experiencing the unique benefits of the Re:Visit solution. They plan to provide input from a medical perspective to refine the solution’s functionality and drive market expansion, helping more hospitals leverage the competitive edge offered by Re:Visit.

Jin Young Kim, CEO of The Invention Lab, stated, “MotionLabs has received direct validation from numerous hospitals regarding the potential of Re:Visit as a specialized SaaS solution, with actual revenue showing growth. This has led us to decide on further investments, recognizing its potential as a leading vertical hospital solution.”

With this funding, MotionLabs aims to accelerate its entry into the medical vertical SaaS market for clinics. Their aspirations extend beyond the domestic medical market, with plans to expand globally. They aim to establish a global medical SaaS company rooted in Korea.
