KOKKANLOGIS Secures Seed Funding to Digitize Freight Transport with AI Platform ‘Primo’
Reading Time: < 1 minuteKorean startup KOKKANLOGIS, which operates the AI-based freight brokerage platform ‘Primo,’ has secured seed funding from 500 Global. KOKKANLOGIS aims to digitize freight transportation through ‘Primo’ to support more efficient and transparent freight transactions.
‘Primo’ offers shippers a variety of services, including smart freight order registration through multiple methods, AI-powered dispatching, transport fare suggestions based on big data, real-time freight tracking, electronic receipts, and freight transport PKI(Public Key Infrastructure). Additionally, it features a fintech-based system that reduces the payment cycle from nearly two months to just five days, enhancing convenience for drivers with quick transport fee payments. Since its launch, the number of users has increased by 170%, with over 10,000 drivers using ‘Primo’ and a retention rate exceeding 80%.
Kyoungmin Kim, Partner at 500 Global, who led the investment, explained, “In the highly promising domestic freight transport market, KOKKANLOGIS is addressing the needs of drivers and shippers with its AI and big data technologies. As more users adopt KOKKANLOGIS’ solutions, the digital transformation of the domestic logistics market is expected to accelerate.”
Jayeong Kim, CEO of KOKKANLOGIS, founded the company based on extensive development experience at E-Land and SoftBank Japan. CEO Jayeong Kim stated, “With this investment, we plan to accelerate the onboarding of shippers and drivers. Our goal is to create a platform where anyone can easily and conveniently transport freight by thoroughly collecting and analyzing data to enhance our services.”
