WeBareSoft Secures Seed Funding From HYU Holdings to Advance AI API Platform
Reading Time: 2 minutesWeBareSoft, a Korean startup specializing in middleware, has secured seed funding from Hanyang University Holdings(HYU Holdings) and is currently pursuing two additional follow-up investments. The company expects these investments to bolster its ongoing growth and innovation efforts, strengthening its market competitiveness.
Drawing on its extensive middleware technology expertise, WeBareSoftt has independently developed the ‘OSORI API Gateway and Management‘ solution using the Rust programming language. Rust, renowned for its superior performance and stability, is recommended by the White House and widely adopted by tech giants like Microsoft, Google, Meta, and Amazon. WeBareSoft’s OSORI product, implemented in Rust, has shown over 78% better performance and an 87% reduction in memory usage compared to Java-based products during a PoC with D Financial Group last year, ensuring robust stability.
Significantly, WeBareSoft has patented technology enabling real-time application of security measures and adjustments, such as API usage limits. Building on this technology, the company is developing a platform benefiting both API users and providers.
Moreover, WeBareSoft plans to launch an API integration and utilization platform that centralizes various AI APIs—including GPT, Gemini, and Claude—enabling efficient utilization of leading global AI APIs in Korea and supporting local AI API firms in their global expansion efforts.
This investment was facilitated through Hanyang University Holdings’ ‘Startup Value-up with Investor’ program, with plans to support the TIPS program.
