Datarize, a South Korean startup providing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing services for e-commerce, has raised 15 billion KRW in a SeriesB funding round. Atinum Investment led the round, with existing investors Stonebridge Ventures and Mirae Asset Venture Investment also participating.

Datarize’s platform can automatically collect and analyze customer data from websites with a simple installation. It then automates personalized campaign creation, audience targeting, message dispatch, campaign management, and result analysis. Beyond personalized campaigns, it organizes data into key metrics like funnels, cohorts, and segments, providing businesses with a clear view of customer behavior. The platform not only automates processes but also offers features for optimizing campaign materials and audience settings, making it more user-friendly than many other solutions.

Datarize has demonstrated significant growth, with a threefold increase in revenue year-on-year and a service retention rate of over 95%. The platform is used by over 500 clients, who have seen an average 8% increase in conversion rates and a 3,854% return on ad spend (ROAS).

Since last year, Datarize has been expanding globally, establishing subsidiaries in the United States and Japan, and launching its service on Shopify. The company has also been hiring extensively for data and backend engineering roles to enhance its technical capabilities.

An Atinum Investment representative said, “As the demand for CRM solutions that can quickly and accurately collect and analyze customer data, allowing for highly effective personalized marketing, grows, Datarize stands out as Korea’s leading CRM solution provider. The company’s leadership team, composed of serial entrepreneurs with M&A exit experience in the data business, was also a key factor in our decision. We believe Datarize has significant growth potential not only in the domestic market but also internationally. The early demand for their product in Japan suggests that, with localized Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies like local partner sales, Datarize can achieve even faster growth.”

Datarize CEO Seong-moo Kim commented, “Securing 15 billion KRW in funding despite the ongoing venture capital winter is a testament to Datarize’s potential and growth prospects. We will leverage our success in the domestic market to drive significant growth in the global market.”
