South Korean digital healthcare startup DoBrain has secured a KRW 21 billion Series B investment. InterVest, a new investor, led the round with a KRW 15 billion contribution, joined by a domestic insurance company and existing investor KB Investment.
DoBrain is pioneering a digital healthcare model that overcomes location and cost limitations. They offer a comprehensive range of services, from personalized cognitive training programs through their DoBrain2 app for children’s cognitive development to “D-kit,” designated as an innovative medical device in December 2022. They also provide online coaching classes for caregivers known as “WeVillee Homes,” alongside WeVillee Kids, an offline treatment center recognized by the QABA as an ABAT-certified institution.
DoBrain is preparing for FDA certification to register its cognitive digital therapeutic (DTx) solutions in the United States.
With this new investment, DoBrain aims to focus on developing services and products that address the challenges faced by children with varying developmental needs and their families. DoBrain’s mission is to make the world a place where more children can receive the support they need for their development, similar to a hospital on the moon.
DoBrain’s app has been downloaded over 600,000 times worldwide, with a retention rate of over 90%. It is actively used in various countries, including Cambodia, India, the United States, and Dubai.
