INTIN Inc., a leading Korean digital healthcare company, has secured a $1 million contract to supply saliva female ovulation analyzers to Diagnio, a digital healthcare firm based in the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement was formalized during the ‘2023 ComeUp’ event, an international startup festival organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Startup Forum, held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul from November 8th to 10th.

ComeUp serves as a platform for entrepreneurs and companies to showcase innovative technologies and ideas, drawing over 700 participants from 35 countries worldwide, including 90 delegations from Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

This agreement holds significance as the first to be signed during ComeUp 2023 last November. The presence of H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE Minister of Economy, added weight to the signing ceremony. Beyond exporting domestic digital healthcare products to the UAE, INTIN’s cross-border accelerator, Bigbang Angels, has committed to establishing an active collaboration model through a Joint Venture (JV) with UAE companies via the Venture Studio program in the future, focusing on expanding R&D and human investment.

H.E. Al Marri, the UAE Minister of Economy, expressed, “We will actively support the spread of Korea’s outstanding digital healthcare products to the UAE in collaboration with UAE companies. We aim to provide necessary support for joint research and localization through Bigbang Angels’ Joint Venture model in the future.”

Hye-Jung Lee, Director of INTIN, shared, “Through our partnership with Diagnio, we aim to establish a leading position in digital healthcare and provide better health services.”

Diagnio, a company specializing in innovative health solutions, particularly in the analysis of the entire female cycle, has signed an agreement with INTIN to supply female ovulation analyzers as part of their collaboration on female reproductive healthcare solutions. The device, utilizing cutting-edge technology, monitors estrogen levels in saliva.

Ryan Kwon, Vice President of Bigbang Angels, expressed delight in supporting Diagnio and INTIN’s expansion into the Middle East. He believes that Diagnio’s agreement with INTIN to supply saliva female ovulation analyzers will make a significant contribution to medical technology innovation in the Middle East.

Through this collaboration, both companies aim to enhance their competitiveness in the global medical technology market, showcase innovative digital healthcare solutions, and contribute to the development of the health industry.

“This is the second time we have won the CES Innovation Award since our ‘Oview Multi-Device’ product, a diagnostic treatment for respiratory diseases, won the CES Innovation Award at CES 2022,” stated Kim Ji-hoon, CEO of INTIN. “It will be a bridgehead for our global expansion in 2024, as we plan to actively enter not only the Middle East market but also the US market.”
