Korea Accelerator Association Partners with Vietnam BSSC for Startup Ecosystems
Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe Korea Accelerator Association has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnam Business Startup Support Center (BSSC). This agreement, facilitated through a virtual video conference on the 19th, aims to foster active cooperation in enhancing the global competitiveness of domestic investors and startups, as well as supporting their business expansion.
Key components of the agreement include the joint hosting of the Korea-Vietnam Startup Investors Conference, the establishment of networks among global investors and related startup support organizations, the support for creating global funds and attracting investments, and collaboration in the global expansion of Korean startups.
Notably, the Korea Accelerator Association intends to organize the “Korea-Vietnam Startup Investors Conference” (provisional title) in Vietnam during the latter half of this year, developing a collaborative framework with local startup support entities.
BSSC, a state-run organization for nurturing startups under the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, assists startups in various sectors through mentoring, education, and acceleration programs.
Jeon Hwa-Seong, chairman of the Korea Accelerator Association, stated, “Vietnam’s startup ecosystem is dynamic and evolving rapidly. We aim to establish a bridgehead for domestic investors and startups to more easily access and grow in the Vietnamese market by building a network with Vietnam’s startup ecosystem.”
