NationA, a South Korean generative AI startup, has secured KRW 2 billion in pre-Series A funding. Investors include Mirae Holdings, Hana Securities, Magna Investment, and Infobank.

Founded in 2022, NationA operates Neuroid, a global SaaS platform for creating 3D/4D data using generative AI technology. Neuroid quickly gained attention in the global market, amassing 1 million users shortly after its launch in October 2023.

NationA won two Innovation Awards at CES 2024, accelerating its global expansion efforts.

With this investment, NationA plans to enhance its product and expand its global operations. The company also intends to hire additional staff to support rapid growth and new service launches.

Hansu Hwang, an investment officer at Infobank, which participated in both the seed and current funding rounds, remarked, “Nation A is a team of talented individuals with significant experience in generative AI and the SaaS market. We highly value their deep market understanding, rapid product development, and scalable global SaaS solutions.”

Yoo Soo-yeon, CEO of NationA, stated, “The global content market is transitioning to 3D. We aim to lead the popularization of global 3D content through AI technology with this new investment.”
