MyRealTrip reported a transaction volume of KRW 371.6 billion (approximately USD 291 million) in Q2, a 77% increase from the same period last year. The company also recorded an operating profit exceeding KRW 500 million (approximately USD 392,000). This milestone was driven by continuous service innovation and a customer-centric approach, resulting in balanced growth across all business sectors, including flights, accommodations, activities, and kids’ services. The rapid growth of MyPack and B2B businesses, launched based on customer data, also played a significant role.
The B2B sector, in particular, led this growth, with Q2 transaction volume more than doubling that of Q1. MyRealTrip began focusing on its B2B business in February last year by appointing former Hana Tour CEO Kyung-Gun Yook to lead its Corporate Independent Company (CIC) overseeing B2B operations.
MyRealTrip’s B2B services include corporate partnership solutions such as corporate welfare malls, business trips, MICE corporate groups, overseas training, employee welfare, VIP protocol, and social group travel. About 100 companies, including Samsung Electronics, Nexon, Nongshim, and Yogiyo, currently use these services.
Launched in March, MyPack is an optimal package combining flights, accommodations, and tours/activities, based on data from 8.3 million customers. It has recorded a monthly transaction volume of KRW 2.5 billion (approximately USD 2 million), driven by reasonable prices and high convenience.
Dong-Gun Lee, CEO of MyRealTrip, stated, “This achievement is the result of consistently securing new growth drivers, such as the launch of MyPack, which simplifies the complex travel planning process and caters to modern travelers seeking personalized experiences. We will further strengthen our competitiveness in the global market to solidify our position as a travel super app.”
