The platform has approximately 40,000 members, with over 90% being women with strong purchasing power.
‘Nonunbub’ has built a reliable community that caters to the relational characteristics of women in their 40s and 50s, facilitating smooth communication, and offering unique wellness products that combine health and travel. Women in this age group can use the service to ▲organize and participate in small gatherings for cultural activities and more with trusted users based on a verification system ▲enjoy distinctive wellness trips that utilize local healing agriculture ▲find travel companions and book group discounts for travel experiences.
With this investment, Babaground plans to enhance its trusted community and commerce features and quickly cater to the increasing demand for travel, including offering wellness travel packages to destinations like Japan in the post-COVID era.
Heo Jeong, the CEO of Babaground, stated, “The typical challenges for women in their 40s and 50s include feelings of emptiness after raising children, fear of retirement, and physical and mental changes due to menopause.” He added, “We are starting with the ‘travel’ sector, which is most popular among middle-aged women, but our ultimate goal is to provide a service that covers the entire spectrum of wellness, helping women overcome physical and mental challenges.”
