Digital healthcare company CenacleSoft announced today that it is launching a 20 billion won Series C investment round, including a 4 billion won follow-on investment from NAVER CLOUD.

CenacleSoft has been providing its cloud and software as a service (SaaS) EMR ” OMR Chart” to the primary care electronic medical record (EMR) market, which is dominated by on-premise server-based programs, since 2021. In addition, CenacleSoft plans to launch a personal healthcare service PHR (Personal Health Record) that works with its EMR.

The amount of investment received from NAVER CLOUD as a follow-on investment is KRW 4 billion, and the cumulative investment amount including this investment is KRW 28.7 billion.

In addition to NAVER CLOUD, Dunamu & Partners, Murex Partners, Kakao Ventures, Asan Social Welfare Foundation, and Hana Bank have participated in CenacleSoft’s previous investment rounds.

“The investment from NAVER CLOUD, a trusted cloud service provider and partner who shares our vision, means a lot to us,” said Uisuk Wi, co-founder and CEO of CenacleSoft. “We plan to use the proceeds of the Series C round, which is expected to be worth KRW 20 billion, to further develop OMR and its associated PHR for patients. The PHR will be built to manage family members’ medical records and daily health records, as well as integrate and provide convenient functions for non-face-to-face visits to the hospital, such as scheduling, reception, filing, documentation, and insurance claims.”
