Reset Company to Expand Solar Panel Cleaning and Recycling Solutions with KRW 3 billion funding
Reading Time: < 1 minuteReset Company, a South Korean startup that provides solar panel cleaning robots and waste recycling solutions, has secured KRW 3 billion in Series A funding. The round was led by POSCO Capital and included participation from Behigh Investment and Gyeongnam Venture Investment.
The company’s cleaning robots use a combination of sensors, cameras, and AI to remove up to 99% of dirt and debris from solar panels. This can help to improve energy efficiency by up to 20%, according to Reset Company. The company has sold over 300 robots in Korea and Japan, and is now expanding into new markets, including the United States, Thailand, and India.
Reset Company is also developing a solar panel recycling facility in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. The facility will use the company’s proprietary technology to recycle solar panels without the need for incineration. This will help to reduce air pollution and create a circular economy for solar panels.
In a statement, Reset Company CEO Sung-dae Jeong said, “The solar panel market is growing rapidly around the world. We believe that our cleaning robots and recycling solutions can help to improve the efficiency and sustainability of solar energy.”
