Nangman Inc.’s Toorder: Revolutionizing Digital Transformation in the Restaurant Industry

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Korean startup Nangman Inc., operating the digital transformation solution ‘Toorder‘ for the restaurant industry, has secured pre-Series A investment from Dasung Ventures and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund(KODIT). Last year, Nangman Inc. was selected for the TIPS program and secured a 700 million KRW grant.

Toorder by Nangman Inc. provides a service that integrates sales and ordering data for restaurants, facilitating digital transformation. It collects dispersed sales data from restaurants and connects it with recipes and ordering information to prevent over-ordering, thereby reducing operational costs. Currently, Toorder is offered as a SaaS solution to meet the substantial data management needs of restaurant franchises.

Torder, which has effectively met the needs of restaurant franchises, is showing rapid growth. Following significant expansion last year, Toorder has secured over 7,000 paid franchisee installations. Major franchises such as Isaac Toast, Puradak Chicken, Frank Burger, and Salady use Toorder across all their locations to support franchisees.

Building on this investment and growth, Nangman Inc. plans to expand its system further. Beyond the current integrated management of sales and ordering data, the goal is to connect all aspects of the dining industry—from consumer behavior to logistics and production. They intend to establish automated ordering, logistics optimization, and automated production systems based on the ingredient usage and order data collected by Toorder.

Kim Jung-min, CEO of Dasung Ventures, lead investor in the round, commented, “Nangman Inc. is pioneering digital transformation with deep insights into restaurant franchises. We anticipate it becoming a pivotal player in the future IT landscape of the dining industry, surpassing its role as a data management SaaS provider for franchises.”

Joo-Hyun Ahn, CEO of Nangman Inc., stated, “Toorder, with its robust capability to collect essential sales and ordering data, is poised to evolve into a service that enhances restaurant efficiency, boosts revenue, and improves productivity based on this data.”
