THE HYOOSIK covers the full spectrum of services from hotel property management to construction, operations, and cloud solutions, within the small and medium-sized hotel market valued at KRW 20 trillion. Currently, it is expanding its portfolio by developing seven tourist hotels beyond this market and managing a three-star hotel under a global brand.
Using a proprietary hotel valuation model and an Expected Sales Analysis System (ESAS) based on data from 150 lodging districts, THE HYOOSIK has streamlined the valuation process from one month to just one hour. After five years of successful operations, it has established itself as a dependable hotel operator. Through strategic partnerships with asset management firms, it is extending its presence from the private wealth market to the institutional investment sector.
Lee Dae-yeol, the lead fund manager of the TS Proptech Fund, which spearheaded this investment, commented, “This investment aims to accelerate the strategic initiatives formulated with THE HYOOSIK’s co-CEOs, Hyun-wook Shin and Jun-ha Kim, reinforcing the foundation for sustainable growth.” He elaborated on the investment’s rationale and future plans, noting, “With our deep understanding of proptech companies, including THE HYOOSIK, we are planning to raise further funds that are tailored to support the growth stages of these companies.”
