Korea-based prop-tech startup, Korea Space Data, recently secured a Series B investment of 4 billion won from Smilegate Investment and Hana Ventures. This milestone comes just over a year after the company received Series A funding in October of the previous year, bringing the total investment to 11 billion won.

Kim Yumi, Team Leader at Smilegate Investment, commended Korea Space Data for its innovative approach to the small and medium-sized building management market through integrated services and digital solutions. The company’s space management service, ‘Cleanier,’ provides a comprehensive range of services for space operations, including cleaning, repairs, equipment management, and interior services.

With the expansion into the franchise service ‘Cleanier With,’ the company has successfully trained over 50 space management experts. Notably, it has also ventured into the hotel services market, offering services such as hotel room management, F&B, and laundry.

Korea Space Data enhances traditional building management through its space management software, ‘Spacian,’ thereby increasing operational efficiency. This has resulted in the company surpassing 650 client locations, with annual revenue growing 2-3 times each year since its establishment. The cumulative revenue for the first three quarters of this year reached 11 billion won, reflecting a remarkable 200% YoY growth.

Looking ahead, Korea Space Data plans to showcase a system using ‘Spacian’ that enables the seamless provision of space and building management services for Cleanier’s customers, managers, Cleanier With franchisees, and on-site service personnel. The company is actively working on the automation of repetitive tasks.

Kim Hyun-woo, CEO of Korea Space Data, shared the company’s goal of providing total services for small and medium-sized buildings, aspiring to become a global real estate service company akin to CBRE and JLL. Starting in Q4, the company will collaborate with Tower Linen Service, the owner of Korea’s largest hotel laundry factory, to establish dominance in the market with the ‘Cleanier Tower Linen’ brand. This initiative aims to offer building management services for hotel and resort clients, as well as landlords.
