Dukkubisesang Secures Series C Funding to Transform Apartment Market
Reading Time: 2 minutesThe operator of the South Korean real estate direct transaction platform ‘Peter Pan’s Good Room Finder’, Dukkubisesang, has secured a Series C investment of KRW 8 billion from Samchully Asset Management.
Dukkubisesang is the only proptech startup in the country that serves as an integrated platform for apartment users, capturing traffic from apartment investors, residents, and those in need of relocation services. The company has digitalized necessary data and services for apartment stakeholders, including listings, real transaction information, community forums for moving and residency, and solutions for residential living, thus establishing a proptech ecosystem.
Beginning with ‘Peter Pan’s Good Room Finder’, a real estate direct transaction service that has attracted over 500 million visitors, Dukkubisesang has acquired apartment apps “Aptner” and “APTSTORY,” which are used by more than 3,300 complexes and 2.7 million households nationwide. It has also acquired the apartment transaction information app “Asil,” the residential innovation startup “LIVABLE,” and the tree healthcare platform “SAVETREE,” enhancing the company’s value in the apartment market through synergies among its subsidiaries.
Dukkubisesang plans to leverage this investment as a springboard to aggressively expand its market share in the apartment sector and to accelerate its expansion into the Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure business.
The company stated, “While many industries have digitized their services, the apartment sector remains mired in analog practices, facing challenges across various value chains, including investment, moving, and living.” Dukkubisesang views these challenges as opportunities and aims to digitize everything apartment stakeholders need, making it all accessible at their fingertips.
Furthermore, the company noted, “Leveraging the synergy among our subsidiaries, we have established ourselves as the No.1 apartment app in the South Korean market last year. By 2024, we aim to transform into the leading company capable of exerting the most significant influence on ‘apartments’ regardless of type, and eventually, evolve into the No.1 company that is most intimately connected to our customers’ lives.”
