Korean Accounting AI Startup CCK Solution raises funding from Naver & PwC

CCK Solution is in the process of developing a solution based on Large Language Models (LLMs) aimed at enhancing the productivity of accounting audit tasks. The solution seeks to streamline various aspects of accounting work, including the review of vast amounts of document data, management of various inquiries, and client communication, with the goal of allowing accountants to focus on their expertise and thus improve the quality of accounting services.
In January, CCK Solution officially launched its first product, ‘Accio’, entering the business sector. Accio is a solution that automates client communication and inquiry management. It has already secured partnerships with major accounting firms in Korea. CCK Solution plans to expand its service lineup for comprehensive accounting tasks by releasing AI-based document processing and accounting quality management solutions by the end of the year.
The team at CCK Solution consists of experts with significant capabilities in AI technology and a profound understanding of accounting tasks. The founding team, including CEO Cho Hyun-soo, has a background in computer science and has accumulated experience working as accountants in major accounting firms. Moreover, they have assembled an NLP development team with experience from AI startups like Scatter Lab, accelerating the development of their solutions.
Sanghwan Yang, the leader of Naver D2SF, stated, “Generative AI is rapidly making its way into all industries, creating new market opportunities, especially in specialized fields such as accounting.” He added, “CCK Solution, with its dual expertise in AI technology and accounting, is set to become a key player in driving the innovation of accounting tasks through AI technology.”
