Everytime Surpasses 7 Million Users: A Must-Have App for Korean College Students
Reading Time: 2 minutesVINU Labs, the operator of ‘Everytime,’ a platform essential to the lives of college students in Korea, has announced that the cumulative number of subscribers to Everytime has surpassed 7 million. This significant increase was achieved with the addition of approximately 420,000 freshmen from the class of 2024 in the past three months, following the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test.
Everytime supports all university campuses across Korea (currently totaling 397 campuses), making it a universally accessible service for college students. It is deemed an indispensable app by upperclassmen for freshmen, facilitating not only the creation of timetables but also providing course reviews among other academic management functions. The platform’s monthly active users (MAU) reached 3 million as of March 2023.
This notable growth to 7 million subscribers is largely due to the influx of Generation Z freshmen. Around 420,000 college students from the class of 2024 have signed up in the recent three months, and with ongoing additional college admissions, the number of new users is expected to rise further.
Freshmen of 2024 are engaging actively on Everytime, using it to gather lecture information for course registration and to communicate with seniors about life on campus through the freshman bulletin board. From February 16th to 22nd alone, 41.5% of the posts and 72.7% of the group chats on Everytime were contributed by users from the class of 2024.
Han-yi Kim, CEO of VINU Labs, commented, “The fact that Everytime has continued to be an essential app for college students, even after the COVID-19 endemic, is particularly meaningful. We are committed to further developing the service to facilitate mutual support and growth among students from the same school.”
