TEAMSPARTA Achieves Record-Breaking First Quarter Revenue, Targets Global IT Leadership

Reading Time: 2 minutes

South Korea’s IT startup TEAMSPARTA announced on the 8th that it reached a record-breaking first quarter, with revenues surpassing KRW 14 billion and an operating profit of KRW 2.5 billion. This represents a significant jump from last year’s first-quarter revenue of approximately KRW 6.1 billion, marking an impressive growth rate of over double within a year. TEAMSPARTA’s annual revenue for the previous year was around KRW 31.8 billion, indicating a growth of over 44.8% compared to the year before. With ambitions high, the company aims to solidify its presence in both its existing educational sector and new ventures, targeting annual revenues of KRW 50 billion this year.

This quarter’s success is largely credited to the sustained performance of the ‘Tomorrow Learning Camp,‘ which is part of the K-Digital Training (KDT) government-funded project, continuous expansion in B2B corporate education services, and new initiatives in outsourcing development projects.

The Tomorrow Learning Camp has, so far, graduated approximately 4,000 students, with nearly 65% finding employment within six months post-completion. Furthermore, the introduction of courses in non-development fields, such as data analysis and UX/UI design, has significantly broadened the educational offerings. TEAMSPARTA is planning to further broaden its curriculum to include AI and 3D modeling at the Camp, along with new training programs targeted at current employees and business owners.

TEAMSPARTA has also bolstered its B2B services. The corporate education team at TEAMSPARTA has raised its market competitiveness by providing specialized curricula and practical automation templates using AI, tailored to meet business needs. By hosting numerous seminars online and offline, focusing on DX innovation trends, and creating experiential opportunities for corporate HR managers, TEAMSPARTA has successfully attracted a broad corporate client base.

The outsourcing development brand ‘Sparta Builders,’ launched in January, uses the AI solution ‘Faraday,’ which leverages years of coding data to significantly reduce development time. Distinct strategies, such as offering a year of free maintenance and assigning one developer per project, distinguish ‘Sparta Builders’ from traditional industry practices. Concurrently, TEAMSPARTA is hastening its international expansion by developing B2B and B2C educational ventures in the coding markets of Japan and India.

CEO Lee Beom-Gyu of TEAMSPARTA commented, “By expanding into various new ventures at the start of this year, beyond our educational initiatives, we’ve achieved our highest quarterly sales to date. Beginning as an educational enterprise, TEAMSPARTA is committed to relentless effort until we ascend to the ranks of global IT corporations, based on our strong foundation.”
